Nokia Moneypenny screenshot reveals dual SIM indicators and on-screen buttons



A screenshot from Nokia’s upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 device, codenamed “Moneypenny,” show off the OS’ dual SIM functionality and on-screen navigation buttons.*





Popular leakster Evleaks recently confirmed that the Moneypenny would be the first dual SIM Windows Phone handset, with the dual SIM variant to be called the Lumia 635, and now the screenshot reveals how the OS will handle things like indicating the available networks and separate inboxes. Also included in the screenshot are on-screen navigation buttons, which Microsoft is adding support for*in order to make it cheaper for hardware manufacturers to make Windows Phone devices, which would also explain their presence on a budget device like the Moneypenny.

Earlier rumors suggest the Moneypenny will be among the first Nokia phone to run on Windows Phone 8.1, which is expected to bring features like a dedicated notification center,*better multitasking, Siri and Google Now-like personal assistant, a control center for quick settings access, separate volume controls, VPN support,*and more, along with another James Bond-inspired handset, the “Goldfinger.”
