A tweet by @evleaks revealed the white version of the Nexus 5, along with its likely launch date.
All rumors and leaks point to an official Nexus 5 announcement this week. @evleaks tweeted an image of the press render of the white Nexus 5 today, and has mentioned that the device will be launched November 1st. Other rumors indicated that the Nexus 5 will launch on the Play Store on October 31st, so it is almost definite that Google will finally announce the device this week.
The excitement over the Nexus 5 is understandable, as the device is the first Nexus mobile device to feature a 5-inch full-HD screen. Other hardware on the device will also be high-end, which includes the likes of a Snapdragon 800 SoC that comes with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. The Snapdragon 800 that will be used in the device is the higher binned variant, and will come with a CPU clock of 2.3 GHz and a GPU clock of 500 MHz, both being a 100 MHz higher than the lower binned version of the SoC.
The Nexus 5 will also come with 2 GB RAM, LTE connectivity and a 2,300 mAh battery. The device will likely come in two storage variations of 16 GB and 32 GB, with the 16 GB costing $349 and the 32 GB costing $399. The Nexus 5 will be the first device that launches with Android 4.4 KitKat on-board.
