NSA website target for DDoS attack, Anonymous among the suspects


Anonymous is being linked to the DDoS attack on the NSA’s website.




Earlier today, NSA.gov was down, and before any type of confirmations were made, some began pointing fingers at the hacktivists known as Anonymous.* Neither the NSA nor Anonymous gave any sort of confirmations as to whom or which organization was behind the DDoS attack.

Much of the web’s news lately, especially in the realm of privacy and espionage, have revolved around the NSA, so it shouldn’t surprise many that the government spying agency is under attack by multiple parties.* In addition to the external factors that are hampering the NSA’s activities, internally the organization’s data center have been reported as also experience electrical problems.
