Latest batch of rumors suggest that the Nexus 5 will be launched on the Google Play Store on October 31, with Canadian carriers getting the handset on November 8.
October 15th has come and gone, and we have’nt seen any official mention of the long-awaited Nexus 5. Google did send out invites to an event yesterday, but turns out that was just a misunderstanding, and that the event was a private one.
The latest rumors from MobileSyrup, the same website that leaked the first press images of the Nexus 5 for the Canadian carrier TELUS, indicate that the device will be launched on October 31st on Google’s Play Store. Canadian carriers Rogers, Bell, TELUS, Koodo and Virgin may get the handset on November 7th or 8th.
The Nexus 10 tablet went out of stock yesterday on the U.S. Play Store, which fueled rumors that Google will also unveil this year’s Nexus 10 along with the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kitkat. Google and LG have not sent out any media invites yet.
