'Call of Duty: Ghosts' update patches 'god mode' exploit, fixes multiplayer issues

Call of Duty: Ghosts has received an important update that patches a number of cheat exploits and fixes a plethora of multiplayer issues.

A “god mode” exploit has been patched, along with an invisibility cheat and a hack that allowed players to take no damage from weapons or melee attacks; there’s also a fix for the performance issues suffered by players if another player would start spamming them with messages, and backend stability for multiplayer mode has been improved as well.

Other changes in the update include fixes for a rare crash that could occur when using a guest account, map-specific spawn issues, a bug that would allow a friendly team to change color between rounds, and more, along with improvements for controller pairing functionality, and the addition of a hardcore option for Domination leaderboards.

The update’s live for all platforms (except the Wii U) and will be automatically downloaded and applied once users fire up the game on whatever platform they’re playing it on. More details on the update can be found at the source link.
