Foursquare for iOS 7 redesigned and revamped

Popular social service Foursquare has released a new version of its iOS 7 app which comes with new features and an all new design.

Foursquare first released its iOS 7 compatible app a couple of months ago, shortly after Apple released iOS 7 to the public. That app merely brought its design in line with that of iOS 7. Given the fact that Apple made drastic user interface changes in its latest update, quite a lot of apps were updated so that their design could better complement the new OS. This Foursquare update doesn’t come with just cosmetic changes, it has a couple of new features as well.

The app is said to be much more smarter. So when a user enters a venue they have not visited before, the app will automatically push notifications about money-saving specials as well as tips even if the user hasn’t launched the app.*Furthermore, the app will display fresh data every time its launched so that users never miss great tips or specials around them. As always, the feed will display friends’ activities.

Foursquare version 7.0 for iOS 7 is live now, it can be downloaded free of cost from the App Store.
