iOS 7.0.3 release slated for next week

Apple is said to have rolled out the next iOS 7 update to partners and employees. iOS 7.0.3 release is now slated for next week, as per an unofficial source.

Only recently Apple seeded iOS 7.0.2 for iOS devices. The update brought fixes for a couple of security bugs that were discovered in iOS 7. Apple released its latest and greatest iOS platform update on September 18. iOS 7 brings a plethora of new features as well as a completely new “flat” user interface. The next update, iOS 7.0.3, is expected to bring another round of bug fixes and nothing more.

The next major iOS 7 update, iOS 7.1, is reportedly going to be released later this month. This update is actually said to be releasing alongside the new iPads, that Apple is supposedly going to announce on October 15. Apple itself hasn’t confirmed anything as yet regarding its tablet plans, or that of its next major iOS update. That particular update might bring a few new features, but iOS 7.0.3 probably won’t. It is evident from the version number that this is going to be an incremental update that will bring bug fixes, perhaps even one for the iMessage bug that’s irking a lot of users.

No specific release date has been rumored as yet, though iOS 7.0.3 is believed to release sometime next week. As usual, Apple is quiet about its future plans and hasn’t said anything about an upcoming iOS update.
