LG is set to announce a 5.5-inch device called the LG G Pro Lite, which is low-end version of the Optimus G Pro that includes a stylus. This device will likely be launched in the Russian market for $400.
News of the LG G Pro Lite was first leaked by UnwiredView , and subsequent images that were revealed highlight a device that looks similar to the Optimus G Pro. According to the leaked information, the G Pro Lite will feature a 5.5-inch screen with a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. This comes out to a pixel density of 200 ppi, which is fairly low considering the Optimus G Pro had a screen that was twice as good.
The device will also feature an as yet unknown 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, micro-SD card slot and an 8 MP rear camera on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Other features include FM radio and dual-SIM functionality, as well as a stylus. This would make the*G Pro Lite the first LG device to feature a stylus, and it should be interesting to see if LG bundle any custom software for use with it, like Samsung is wont to on its Galaxy Note devices.
It has been indicated that the device will be available in Russia for $400 unlocked, where it will contend with the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Mega and Grand Duos.
