Motion capture for 'Uncharted 4' is underway

The narrator of Uncharted 4‘s teaser has given gamers an interesting glimpse of a mo-cap session for Naughty Dog’s upcoming new game.

When Naughty Dog announced that a new Uncharted game is coming to PlayStation 4, a surge of elation and anticipation passed through the gaming community. The series has always been a hallmark for the PlayStation brand, and has solidified in a landmark AAA franchise that has garnered considerable acclaim.

Many of us don’t know who Todd Stashwick is, and no one really knows what character he lent his voice to during the Uncharted 4 teaser trailer. Stashwick began the teaser with some cryptic–yet haunting–words, setting the backstory for a character who’s apparently out for some vengeance.



While we still aren’t sure who Stashwick is playing, he did shed some light on the studio’s mo-cap sessions. The actor shared these images via Twitter, proving that apples (yes, apples) will indeed be in Uncharted 4.And of course this confirms that motion capture is underway, with Stashwick playing a pivotal role in the game.

Below we’ve included the teaser trailer to serve as a refresher, just in case you missed it last time. No official release date info has been released, but Naughty Dog has confirmed that the game will be available for PS4.
