Apple has finally launched the official Apple Store for iPad app, allowing users to easily shop from their tablets.
Through the Apple Store app, customers can browse products from the company as well as its partners. The app has been available for a long time on other iOS devices, a native iPad version has never been previously released. The new Apple Store for iPad app changes that though, it has been meticulously developed for the tablet’s large screen and provides a refined user experience, making it much more easier for customers to shop Apple products through their tablets.
There’s a menu up top which contains all the product categories, it disappears as the customer browses the app, but just needs to down one quick swipe from top to bottom in order to bring back the menu. The menu has links to Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod and other sections of the online store. The app supports various gestures as well which make navigation a breeze, gestures such as swipe and pinch to zoom are supported, allowing users to get a better look at the product they’re about to purchase.
Customers can also use the app to schedule Genius Bar appointments, located the nearest Apple Store and see what classes and events are taking place there. Through the app, customers can select whether they want the product shipping or they want to personally head down to an Apple Store and pick it up from there.*The Apple Store for iPad app is available for free from the App Store.
