iOS 7.0.4 rolling out with fix for FaceTime and App Store purchase issues

iOS 7.0.4 is now available for the iPhone 4, iPod touch, and iPad, bringing a number of fixes and improvements.

iOS 7.0.4 includes a fix for an issue that was causing FaceTime calls to fail for some users after a certain period of time. Also included is “enhanced purchase authorization” – according to Apple, a signed-in user was able to complete a transaction on the App Store without providing a password when prompted, but that shouldn’t be the case anymore.*The update also comes with other unmentioned bug fixes and improvements, and is around 16.5 MB to 20 MB in size.

It should be available on supported devices (iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4,*iPad Air, iPad (third and fourth generations), iPad 2, iPad mini, and fifth-generation iPod touch) for most users, and can be downloaded and installed from the*Settings*»*General*»*Software Update, unless the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network and plugged into a power source, in which case the download should have completed automatically. As always, you’ll be able to update via iTunes from your computer as well.
