Look what we have here folks. The very first Galaxy S6 leaked image has leaked on the web. After the specs of the device leaked out via Antutu benchmark a few days back, the first Samsung Galaxy S6 spy pic comes courtesy of toptienmobiel.nl. The picture shows a device that looks to have very thin bezels on the side and a design that seems similar to Samsung’s new design language that the company has been employing on its newer devices since the Galaxy Alpha.
Unlike most spy shots, this one seems quite clear and at least to us, doesn’t look like a clever Photoshop job. Overall the device looks much better than the Galaxy S5 and does look a lot more premium now with the updated design. It also looks a lot less rounded now, and more rectangular like the Galaxy Note series devices. The top and bottom bezels look impressively thin as well, but unfortunately Samsung is still using the hardware home button on the Galaxy S6 as well. Perhaps Samsung couldn’t find any other way to include the fingerprint scanner other than having a physical home button. At the top, only the ear speaker grille seems to be visible, the front-facing camera seems to have been covered for some odd reason.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7420 1.8GHz octa-core 64-bit chipset (and perhaps a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset for select markets), 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 20 or 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and 4K Ultra HD video recording, 5MP front-facing camera, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UX running on tip. Although the picture doesn’t confirm it, we hope the Galaxy S6 will be the first Galaxy S flagship to feature a full-metal or part metal construction.
