The FCC reveals Microsoft's next Lumia device, the Lumia 435

The Lumia 435 should be a lower-end version of the*recently announced Lumia 535.

The Lumia 535 was announced not too long ago with better specs for a budget device than we’ve seen with existing entry-level Lumia handsets, and it seems Microsoft plans to go even lower with the Lumia 435, which has recently passed certification in Indonesia and made a visit to the FCC. A few variants of the device have been seen, carrying model numbers*RM-1070, RM-1071, RM-1034, RM-1068 and RM-1032, with two of those set to be dual SIM variants.

In terms of specs, the Lumia 435 is said to feature a 4-inch WVGA (480×800) display, a Snapdragon 200 CPU, and a 5-megapixel rear camera, all of which point at the 435 being a successor to the Lumia 520. Even the dimensions are similar, with the upcoming phone*coming in at*118.1 mm x 64.7 mm (the Lumia 520 was*119.9 mm x 64*mm). There’s not much else known about the Lumia 435; a launch date is likely far away given the Lumia 535 hasn’t been on the market for too long, though Microsoft could be aiming at a quick release especially now that the company is rumored to be putting high-end devices on hold till late 2015.
