Uber snags US$1.2B in funding to further expand in Asia Pacific

Uber intends to make substantial investments particularly in Asia Pacific, wrote CEO Travis Kalanick US-based ridesharing mobile app company Uber*today announced raising US$1.2 billion at a US$40 billion valuation allowing it to “make substantial investments, particularly in the Asia Pacific region”, according to*an official blog post by CEO Travis Kalanick. Funding details were not disclosed....
