Asus announces ROG GTX 760 ‘Striker’ graphics card


Asus’ new card will expand the Republic of Gamers brand and offer 4GB of GDDR5 memory as well as a base clockspeed of 1085 MHz on the platinum version.




Asus announced Friday another card in its Republic of Gamers brand, the ROG GTX 760 Striker.

The GTX 760 Striker will be available in standard and platinum editions. Both editions of the card will include Asus’ powerful DirectCU II cooler and a factory overclock. The standard version of the card has a base clock of 980 MHz and a boost clock of 1033 MHz, while the platinum version has a 1085 MHz base GPU and a 1150 MHz boost clock. Both versions of the card will sport 1152 CUDA cores, 96 TMUs and 32 ROPs, which is to be expected for Nvidia’s GK104 silicon, along with 4GB of GDDR5 of memory.





The card will have*DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort 1.2 outputs.

Asus says the card will be available in stores this month, but has not yet shared details on price.
