Mac owners still facing Wi-Fi bugs after updating to the latest software release.
A couple of days back Apple released OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 update. The first line in the changelog mentioned that this release is going to fix Wi-Fi issues that many users are facing. Apple’s official support forums were filled with complaints about Wi-Fi bugs prior to this update being released. Naturally many users were hopeful that 10.10.1 will finally bring an end to their troubles, but the reality seems to be far from it.
It appears that updating to the latest software release doesn’t really fix the issues. Many threads have popped up once again on the official support forums. Mac owners are still complaining about lingering Wi-Fi bugs which haven’t been fixed, and they’re make these complaints after having updated to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1.
The Wi-Fi related bugs are causing intermittent drops in the wireless connection, slow speeds and downright connection failures. Obviously it is a frustrating ordeal*particularly when one is trying to get some work done on a Mac.
Apple hasn’t acknowledged the lingering issues up till now so it remains to be seen whether or not the company will issue some sort of statement regarding these issues. It can not be said for sure right now if the company has started working on another software update which will hopefully squash these bugs once and for all.
