Tinder will begin testing Tinder Plus, which comes with a set of premium features to better connect people and start a revenue stream for the dating company.
The two new features include an undo button that will allow users to go back to someone that they’ve accidentally swiped over.* Secondly, Plus users will be able to search beyond their designated geographical radius.
According to Tinder officials, the Undo feature is something that users have been requesting for since they often hastily swipe over what could be ‘the one.’* Undo will appear in both the paid and unpaid version of the app, but only Plus users will have the function enabled.
Passport, on the other hand, addresses what Tinder execs are referring to as the physical barrier.* Plus users will be able to expand and peek outside of their designated locations to seek out a potential connection.* While this feature is helpful for Plus users seeking to expand, Passport may also be a concern for unpaid users who want to keep their activities local.
Tinder, however, sees Passport as more of a feature that will cater perfectly to the frequent travelers.
