Apple Watch release expected in spring 2015

An Apple executive hints at a possible release timeframe for the company’s first wearable device.

We had all grown tired of hearing endless rumors and reports about Apple and*the iWatch. The wearable device was officially unveiled back in September and its official moniker is Apple Watch. Even though it has been showed off Apple isn’t going to release it to the public until next year. The company hasn’t provided a confirmed release date as yet but an executive has now offered a hint as to when we can expect this wearable device to drop.

The hint comes from senior vice president of retail and online stores at Apple, Angela Ahrendts, who talked about the release timeframe in a leaked video message. A transcribed version of that video message was spread online and it read “We’re going into the holidays, we’ll go into Chinese New Year, and then we’ve got a new watch coming in the spring.”

The video or its transcription doesn’t mention any specific month or day on which the launch is going to take place, so its possible that things might be tentative at this point in time and prone to change. Apple may formally make an announcement regarding the Apple Watch release about a week before its actually meant to happen.
