Android Lollipop update for Nexus devices delayed to November 12

The update was originally supposed to go out on November 3rd.*

It’s no secret that Android users are currently waiting with bated breath for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to roll out to their devices. As usual, Nexus devices are first in line to get the latest version of the OS, but it seems users of Google’s in-house flagships*will not be enjoying the*sugary benefits of Lollipop for another week, as Google has apparently delayed the update’s rollout.

According to Artem Russakovskii at Android Police, Google has decided to postpone the update’s release to November 12. The update was set to go out on November 3rd, the same day the Nexus 9 went up for sale, but Google is apparently working on fixing some outstanding bugs. That would certainly be a smart thing to do, given how reviews have lambasted Google for*shipping the Nexus 9 with performance and other issues out of the box.
