Even more Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 details surface ahead of intros

The two smaller metal-clad smartphones are showcased on video next to the already released Galaxy Alpha, while the larger A7 version is now expected to sport a Full HD 5.5-inch display.

You know how it felt roughly 24 hours ago that we reached the heights of the Samsung Galaxy A-Series leak-fest? Like there was literally no piece of the puzzle missing? Well, get ready for the uncovering of an additional few pieces.

Where did these come from? Not quite official sources, but pretty much the next best thing: Sam Mobile, the go-to authority for Samsung-centric speculation, and a less known Mexican gossip outlet that proves its credibility via a two-minute video hands-on preview of the A3/A5 duo.

The devices are manhandled in what looks like very advanced pre-release prototype form, the A5 even booting to flaunt its running of Android 4.4.4 KitKat. To get a sense of measure, the Galaxy A3 and A5 sit alongside the 4.7-inch Alpha, and by the looks of things, the 4.5/4.8 inch size rumor checks out.

And so do whispers of the two copying Alpha’s aesthetics down to the letter, with not-so-chintzy plastic covering the rears and front bezels and premium aluminum around the edges. Remember, word is both handhelds shall support 64-bit processing thanks to on-board Snapdragon 410 chips, so Android L updates may come soon after their commercial debuts.

A fresh, unverified but fairly reliable story calls for November ETAs, which means the metal-framed mid-rangers could literally go public any minute now.

Chaperoning the two to market, the Galaxy A7 is tipped to considerably up the performance ante, featuring among others a mouth-watering 5.5-inch 1,080p screen. For some reason though, Sammy doesn’t feel the big guy is deserving of a large-scale global rollout, planning to only launch it in China and a couple of extra Asian markets.

Wait, they don’t feel it’s deserving, or can’t keep up with mass production on account of, oh I don’t know, maybe building the thing entirely from aluminum? The latter is certainly a possibility, albeit some could call it guesswork… at the moment. We’ll see.
