Adidas miCoach Smart Run watch will feature offline Spotify playback

Offline Spotify*integration will be live sometime in the month of December.


The miCoach Smart Run watch is a fitness accessory that allows you to set daily fitness goals and track your workouts to ensure that you achieve those goals. The device runs Android and features sensors like a heart rate monitor, GPS and accelerometer. The device also features 4 GB of internal storage that allows you to load your music.

The device comes with a 1.45-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 184 x 184.A 410 mAh battery ensures that the device lasts four hours on a single charge if you’re listening to music, and eight hours if you’re not. The Smart Run fitness tracker will also be getting offline Spotify integration soon, as Adidas has confirmed that it is working with Spotify in bringing offline integration sometime during the month of December. The additional functionality will be welcome news to existing users of the Smart Run.


Adidas also collaborated with Spotify in launching a “boost your run” initiative that allows you to create customize playlists and new running routes based on your location. The track recommendations change based on the distance as well as the intensity of your workout.
