Lian Li launches the mini-ITX PC-Q33 chassis

Lian Li turn their sights to a mini-ITX enclosure for hardware modders.

With the PC-Q33 chassis, Lian Li is offering the same hinge construction as the larger PC-V358 enclosure that it launched earlier this week, but this time in a mini-ITX form factor. Manufacturers have shown significant interest in the mini-ITX form factor lately, with MSI launching a mini-ITX bundle that includes the Z87I Gaming AC motherboard as well as the GTX 760 Gaming ITX video card.

MSI’s offerings will be the ideal hardware to fit into Lian Li’s PC-Q33 chassis. Lian Li has stuck to a two-chambered design on the PC-Q33, which is a great sign as it allows for better cable management and more effective heat dissipation. The chassis features a hinged design that allows users to access the internal hardware easily. As is becoming standard with all Lian Li enclosures, the PC-Q33 also comes with a brushed aluminium finish.

The chassis can comfortably fit in PSUs 200mm in length, along with video cards of length 220mm and CPU coolers with a height of 180mm. The case can accommodate 120mm radiators and other liquid cooling solutions as well.

The HDD bay is mounted on the side of the chassis, and can slot in either two 3.5-iunch drives, or one 2.5-inch and one 3.5-inch drive. The front hinged section also allows for installation of three 2.5-inch drives or one 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. All hard drives can be mounted easily thanks to the toolless design that is also becoming a standard on all Lian Li enclosures.

The case comes with a single 120mm fan at the rear, with the front featuring two USB 3.0 and HD audio connectors. The PC-Q33 chassis will be available at the end of December for $99.99.
