The much appreciated and award winning design of the Yahoo Weather app has been ported over to Apple’s tablets.
Most iPhone users won’t feel the need to use a third party weather application, given the fact that Apple already includes a native weather app in iOS. Nevertheless, a plethora of such apps are readily available for download through the App Store. Out of all the contenders, one has stood out and has received ample praise for its design. The Yahoo Weather app was initially released for the iPhone and iPod touch only, it earned an Apple Design Award at the World Wide Developer Conference earlier this year.
The Yahoo Weather iPad app has finally been released. Owners of Apple’s popular tablet are likely to rejoice, considering the fact that no native weather application is baked into the tablet.
