Lian Li launches the PC-V358 chassis for hardware-modding enthusiasts

The PC-V358 case is targeted at enthusiasts, and will be available by the end of December for $179.

Lian Li is adding to its line of cube chassis with the launch of the PC-V358. The chassis offers easy access to internal hardware, with the top and front panels swinging outward. The PC-V358 chassis features a two chamber design, with hardware like the video card, motherboard and the 2.5-inch discs in one chamber with the PSU and 3.5-inch discs slotting into the other chamber.

The brushed-aluminium enclosure comes with three 120mm fans in total, two at the front and one at the back for managing heat. The fans come with dust filters that are easily removable for cleaning. The case does offer a lot of room for even the largest video cards, with cards of up to 330mm 12.9 inches in length fitting in without issues. CPU coolers up to 130mm in height can also fit in quite comfortably in the enclosure.

The M-ATX enclosure can fit in motherboards of micro-ATX and mini-ITX form factors, and comes with a total of six 3.5-inch hard drive bays and two 2.5-inch drive bays. At the front of the chassis, there are two USB 3.0 ports along with HD audio connectors.

Lian Li is known for building cases that offer easy installation of hardware, and the PC-V358 is no different. The side panels come off easily so that users can fit in hardware, and the hard drive bays feature a toolless design.

The PC-V358 chassis will be available at the end of December for $179.99. Lian Li have mentioned that it will be available direct from Newegg.
