A Japanese thief has been arrested on the account that he stole $185,000, but the strange thing is he didn’t spoil himself with the loot.
The Japanese police reported that a man allegedly wanted to feed 120 cats only gourmet meals, and so he resorted to stealing $185,000 in cash and jewelries within a span of about a year to spoil his feline companions.
“He would give them fresh fish and chicken, not cheap canned food,” according to the police. “He said he felt happiest when he rubbed his cheek against the cats.”
The unemployed cat-lover reportedly owned only one cat, but when it came to feeding the buffet was open any felines that wanted to join.* He spent an astonishing $250 per day to feed his four-legged friends the tastiest treats around.
