I had been subscribing to virtual servers for my company application development needs. It is very cost effective and they offer short or long term needs from customer, starting from per month basis and you can pick and chose the type of operating systems from windows 2008 servers, linux etc and with various configuration of vCPU, Memory and storage.
it will be good for developers who are look for cost effective, fast setup and flexibility of the subscription model.
