The M.O.J.O. gaming console for Android features better hardware than what others in this category, and is available for purchase starting today.
Mad Catz has announced that the M.O.J.O. gaming console is now available for all buyers. Mad Catz is looking to differentiate the M.O.J.O. console from others in the category, like Ouya and GameStick, by offering better hardware. Under the diminutive hood, there is Nvidia’s Tegra 4, and the console comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, along with a micro-SD card slot to ensure that users do not run into any storage issues.
In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 100 Mbit Ethernet socket. The console also has one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack and HDMI out.

The M.O.J.O. console comes with a wireless controller, which is called C.T.R.L.R. in true Mad Catz fashion. The controller connects via Bluetooth 4.0, and comes with media buttons for payback control of audio and video. It also features a mouse mode that allows users to utilize the controller’s left analog stick to control the onscreen cursor. The controller can also connect to any other Bluetooth device.
In addition to Google Play, Mad Catz is also making available Nvidia’s TegraZone, which gives users access to even more content.
The M.O.J.O. console is available for $249, which includes the console along with one C.T.R.L.R. wireless controller.
