Cut the Rope is one of the most popular mobile games out there.*ZeptoLab’s creation has enthralled players on both iOS and Android, who just can’t get enough of feeding the little monster a piece of candy after every level, which get tougher as the levels go up. Players have been waiting for a sequel to the game for a long time, it was believed that the sequel would be launched around the holiday season this year. That has now been confirmed.
iOS owners who love the game should rejoice. Cut the Rope 2 will be exclusively released for iOS on December 19. It hasn’t been revealed as yet when the sequel is going to be released for Android, but it shouldn’t take that long. It might possibly be out after a few days of the iOS release.*Om Nom remains the main character of the game, and the aim is still to feed candy. However, the gameplay mechanics have been tweaked, new locations have been added and throughout the game new characters will be introduced.
ZeptoLab has already released a trailer for Cut the Rope 2 which gives a hint of what to expect from the new gameplay mechanics. The trailer especially details how the new characters will be introduced at each level and just how exciting they will make the game.
