Two weeks after after releasing iTunes 11.1.2, Apple today rolled out an updated version of its iTunes software that comes with a couple of new improvements.
Nearly two weeks back, Apple released OS X Mavericks and iTunes 11.1.2. This latest release is an incremental update that just brings a couple of new improvements. Apple hasn’t made a significant update to iTunes ever since it released iTunes 11, which brought a number of major new features, including a new user interface. Major changes aren’t expected to be made until iTunes 12, and there have been no rumors about its release just yet.
iTunes 11.1.3 fixes an issue which would have cause the equalizer to stop working as expected, and it also comes with the usual slew of additional bug fixes. Furthermore, this iTunes update improves the software’s performance when switching views in large iTunes libraries.*Those who’re on OS X Mavericks can now find their book library in iBooks for Mac.
iTunes 11.1.3 is available as a free download, it can either be downloaded directly from Apple’s website or through the software update section of the Mac App Store.
