Steve Jobs, the iconic tech figure that was the co-founder of Apple, will be honored by the U.S. Postal Service via snail mail.
Stamp collectors listen up, the U.S. Postal Service’s (UPS) next batch of commemorative stamps set will include the late Steve Jobs.* Even your grandma’s grandma is on Facebook or other forms of digital communications by now, but snail mail stickers are still in demand for stamp collectors.
Jobs’ quirky and illustrious career at Apple made him a legend among many tech-enthusiasts.* Some enthusiasts would go to the extremes to obtain some retro Apple gears, but most of us are penny-pinchers.* So the next best things are posters and stamps—maybe an iPod or two.
The Washington Post released the confidential list of the selected stamp figures, but no exact date was given on their release.* Jobs will join other legendary figures like basketball icon Wilt Chamberlain and former late-night king Johnny Carson to become the next fresh batch stamps to be featured on postal messages nationwide.
