Lumia 1520 specs confirmed by official Nokia store in China

Nokia has listed the Lumia 1520 on one of its official online stores, confirming some of the oft-rumored hardware details.

The Lumia 1520 is just a day away from being officially announced, but it is already listed on the company’s online store Tmall in China. An infographic on the listing confirms that the Lumia 1520 features a 6-inch display, a Snapdragon 800 processor under the hood, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera on the back – nothing new, but an official confirmation is something that’s always welcome, especially for a highly anticipated device like Nokia’s first phablet.

However, some details on the page suggest it is only a placeholder, such as the 1,200mAh battery and 1024×768 resolution display in the specifications section. Even the mentioned price has gone from 4999*Yuan (~$820) to 5999*Yuan (~$980) since the listing showed up on Sunday, so I guess this obvious slip-up hasn’t done too much damage yet. Well, compared to the damage already done by the plethora of leaks in the last couple of months, but hey, we’ll still try to act surprised when Nokia takes the stage to unveil the device in a few hours.
